About Me
Born in Singapore, raised in China and Hong Kong, I have always turned to books and writing for comfort. This led me to pursue journalism in college, with the intention of entering the publishing industry as an editor and later, a published fiction author.
At Messiah College, I had the opportunity to grow as a writer both in fiction and non-fiction. I was the Culture Editor for The Swinging Bridge Magazine in my junior year and Editor-in-Chief during my senior year. In both those positions, I learned a lot about how stories come together, how to work with large groups of people, and how crucial the editing process is to make a good story.
I began writing fiction seriously in 2014, after joining a program called NaNoWriMo. This led me to take my writing hobby and turn it into something I believed was worthy of a career. In an effort to build a platform, I began a blog that focused on book reviews, adding writing posts in 2019.
